Wow. They stuck the landing.

Dude.

When you can hold your own on one of Streisand's biggest numbers (one that I can't recall anyone other than Liza even attempting to cover), you know you're a star. Lea Michele is amazing.

And Amber Riley on "And I am Telling You I'm not Going?" Wow. Just incredible.

I knew we'd get the Stones, of course, after Schu dropped the hint, and that's one of the three songs by them I adore.

The Kelly Clarkson cover at the end was a nice bonus, and the "greatest hits" choreography was adorable.

As far the plot goes, for an episode heavy on the music, they really moved things forward. Getting that last kiss in was a perfect note to go out on.

Waiting four months for the next episode, incidentally, sucks. Even if we do get Idina after the return.

ETA: And I totally forgot Brittany's oh-so-casual comment about having sex with Santana. Also, we finally see Santana acknowledging that she likes Glee. It's about damned time.

ETA 2: And Sue finally gets a brief comeuppance! Woohoo!

You know how sometimes something really stupid can turn a crappy day around and leave you so absurdly happy that you're just bubbling with joy?

Well...

Work was kinda awful today.

Then I go to Harvard to get new jewelry for my ears (later I find out that my earlobes aren't ready to gauge up yet! boo!).

Then take the bus home, but have to switch busses... and stood out in the cold dark windy rain for more than half an hour for a late bus.

Get home, and somehow manage to spill pepsi on the book I was reading.

But then... then 9:00 came.

9:00 came and I turned on Glee.

Tonight's episode was everything I love about the show.

And I am bubbling.

Even if I do have to wait til spring.

I was extremely thrilled with the episode, from the music right down to the plot. Of course, it's also going to make waiting until April that much more difficult, too. *sigh* If they do actually manage to get Idina, though, it'll all be worth it. :D

Everything you said.

And in addition, this: they finally shucked all of the lies that they've been dragging around since the beginning.

(Well, not quite. Kyle is still pining after Finn, and he choreographed the exposure of Quinn's pregnancy to her parents. They still need to deal with that.)

The second half of the season, they'll be confronting their problems head-on. And that makes me very happy.

Oh, and how's this for a Theory: Idina Menzel is Rachel's mom, but we won't find out until Regionals, when one of Rachel's dads rips the lid off.

It was absolutely wonderful. My inner 17-year-old-gay-boy loves this show like nobody's business, and has already scheduled a party for April 13th.

Lea's and Amber's numbers both gave me chills.

Brittany's comment of, "That's who I had to speak to when they found out I had a bird in my locker" killed me. I really hope they do more with her in the Spring.
