R.I.P., Dan O'Bannon

Dan O'Bannon has died. :-(

Between Alien, Return of the Living Dead, and Dark Star, he's associated with three of my all-time favorite films (even if two are just guilty pleasures). Truly a loss.

i've never heard anyone call 'alien' a 'guilty pleasure' before... because i know you're not classifying the genuinely great 'return of the living dead' that way.
