Amazon's got the Monty Python 16-Ton Megaset for $34.99 (65% off) as their Deal of the Day.

They've also got a bunch of $59.99 complete comedy series reduced to $29.99. The best of these is Soap, still one of the best shows to ever air. Other deals are on Newsradio, Good Times, What's Happening, and Sanford and Son.

Season 1 of True Blood is $19.99 (67% off).

Assassin's Creed 2 is $39.99 for the PS3 or Xbox360 ($20 off). Ditto Dragon Age: Origins, Brutal Legend, and Tekken 6.

The new Wii version of A Boy and his Blob is down to $19.99 (50% off).

Glad to see that someone else appreciates Soap!

In '94 or so, MTV ran a weekend-long marathon of the entire series (with a few breaks here and there to re-air some episodes), and I caught about 90% of the shows. I was completely hooked, and am still amazed at how funny it is today.

We showed the whole series to our twelve year old, and he loved it - even though he didn't get all of the innuendo or cultural references. (Of course, he hated the ending of Season 4...)
