Our long national nightmare is over! We may not have health care reform, an end to war or poverty, or any number of other things, but at least we know what's happening with NBC's late night schedule.
We had Conan supporters protesting at Westlake Center here in Seattle. While I was amused by their efforts, and have the "I'm with Coco!" part of me wishes we could see the same action over health care.
(I'm not going to rag on the Conan peeps for saying, Well, you should be protesting for health care, because I hate it when people do that, and who knows, maybe they have been. But I wish I could see more action on bigger issues. I think part of the problem is people don't know what they can do that will be effective. Can we organise a march or does that actually work? What can I do personally besides talk to my relatives about the flaws in their "by the bootstraps" approach?)
