The free MP3 of the day is Canadian Lover/Falcon's Escape, by Destroyer, and the MP3 Deal of the Day is Heart's Greatest Hits for $4.99. Note that this is the '70s-centric version, so you get "Barracuda" and "Magic Man," but no "These Dreams" or "Alone." For that, you'll need their second greatest hits album, which is already priced at $5 (but unfortunately includes "All I Want to Do Is Make Love to You, an MP3 worth nuking from orbit).
In video games, Way of the Samurai 3 for the PS3 is $19.99 (60% off), probably a sign that it's about to hit "Greatest Hits" status. And for the Wii, Battle of the Bands -- the only game that lets you play Guitar-Hero-style on a country version of "Spoonman," a ranchero version of "Insane in the Brain," and a Marching Band version of "Master Exploder," is down to $6.35 (68% off)! At that price, it's worth it for the novelty alone (and it's actually a fun game).
