Anyone know of any way to get Hastily Scrawled Warning Notes that don't involve Twitter spam or getting sent to the Tomb Colonies?

There are the opportunities that occasionally come up. Other than that, not so much, that I have noticed.

Yeah, I haven't had any opportunities come up offering them since I started to need them for my ambition, of course.

And yes, I do feel like a bit of a sad bastard for it, but what the hell. I don't normally care for steampunk or social media games, but I like this one.

Yeah, I'm the same way (and I still hate the social media aspect of the game a lot).

I'm actually good on the notes now (three of the people I pinged responded), but have added you as another contact.

The only reliable way to pick up any of the second chance items is through the social actions. That's deliberate as far as I know.

On the plus side, you can turn off your DM notifications, so it doesn't actually twitter-spam you. (If you turn them off, it should just show up as an accept/reject when you log into the game.) Of course, you then have to tell everyone else you want to not annoy to do that.
