yendiThere's a heavy metal band called Murp consisting of a seven-year-old female lead singer and her ten-year-old brother on drums.
(Although since they appear to have been on "America's Got Talent," clearly other people knew about them already.)
Also, if you're local, you should try to catch the encore of the show this coming Sunday. It's three hours of metal, great (and disturbing) burlesque, some good comedy, and just really fun. Plus there are some great drinks. Well worth the time even on a Sunday night.
The Slaughterhouse Sweethearts have really impressed me over the last year as just an outstanding troupe. They've done a Batman-themed show, lots of good humorous stuff, and some wonderfully twisted things as well.
Yeah, date night in our house is a little different than in some other places. :-)
