yendiNot surprisingly, I was one of the hordes who ordered Daria last week.
I got Elayna to watch the first episode of Season One on Monday, and she seemed to enjoy it well enough, but I wasn't sure if she was hooked.
Well, between Tuesday and Thursday, we watched sixteen more episodes. And she now has the theme song on her iPod.
Yeah, I think I've passed on my love of the show to the next generation.
And yeah, the show holds up wonderfully. The animation was never the high point, of course, but the writing is just spot-on. Episodes like "The Misery Chick" are every bit as funny now as they were fifteen years ago.
