I'll be off at the Why Books? conference today and tomorrow (with a bonus visit to the eye doctor this AM), so likely not online much. So have some links:

1. Amazon is selling all four seasons of Sealab 2021 -- which, for those who don't remember, was about twenty times as funny as the inexplicably successful Aqua Teen Hunger Force ever got -- for $36.49 (53% off). That's a lot of Shrabster!

2. The Paris Review has made all of their interviews available online!

3. Remember the girl with the never-ending case of hiccups? She appears to now be a murderer.

4. Via Making Light, here's a gallery of art by Alasdair Gray, who is one of those novelists that everyone must read.

5. I used to feel bad for the way Kevin Mawae's career with the Jets ended. But now that he's shown himself to be a colossal douche, I'm not so upset.

5.5 No link, but Kris Jenkins on NFL Today on Sunday (yes, I get how weird that phrase is) was wonderful, and unafraid to call folks out who deserved it.

6. Create your own comics with the Super Hero Squad characters!

7. If you played a certain Mac-based FPS in the '90s (or the open-source multiplatform release), the Marathon Story page can be every bit as addictive as TV Tropes.

8. Barnes and Noble is offering a free trial of their club membership (free shipping, in-store discounts); note that it does require giving them credit card info and canceling before the membership expires.

9. How do you explain the internet to a 19th-century street urchin?

10. Finally, you know you want to see a Finnish horror film about Christmas. Well, I want to see it, at least.

I cannot get over Rare Exports; it's like the art house version of Silent Night, Deadly Night!
(Plus since it is foreign, it is educational:))

Finally, someone who understands my belief that anyone from the present who travels back in time is doomed to die within 24 hours.
