So it was really, really cold this morning. So cold I thought I might have gotten frostbite on my toes from waiting for the bus. So we decided to splurge and put Miss Kid in a cab to school, because walking a mile in -25 degree weather (with windchill, it was "just" -5 otherwise) just seemed unwise.

Suffice to say, my experience with Watertown Taxi this morning (which followed my experience with them going to Arisia) was enough to make me write my first Yelp review in ages.

Needless to say, not happy.

My parents have been using them for 25 years. Y'know. And I had one of the best conversations I've ever had with a stranger with a McCue's driver, but that may have been a one-off

They don't close your schools when it's that cold? They usually close the city schools when it's cold like this because of the little kids walking to school. The suburban schools stay open, because all of those kids ride the bus.
