Adrienne Palicki - who was the best thing about a really weak episode of Criminal Minds a couple of weeks back -- is the new Wonder Woman.

Unfortunately, David Kelley is still attached as the writer, so it really doesn't matter much, as he hasn't done anything interesting since the '90s (Picket Fences, Lake Placid and the first season or so of Ally McBeal). But at least he got a good lead to work with.

Actually Harry's Law has been really good so far, but still doesn't give me confidence towards how he adapted Wonder Woman.

In the reboot, from Warner Bros. TV, Wonder Woman/Diana Prince (Palicki) is a vigilante crime fighter in L.A. but also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life.

I'm not optimistic.

Only slightly on-topic, but A) I did like a good chunk of the run of The Practice (I still sometimes impersonate Bobby Donnell, except for the getting-to-bang-Lindsey Dole part) and B) my guess back in '99 was that Lake Placid was a Picket Lines storyline that he just didn't have the budget for.

Still, I'm also not optimistic. A Portlander I follow on Twitter was wondering if the WW script's actually a prank...
