My current dessert of choice
Jun. 5th, 2011 05:28 pm1 cup of plain (not vanilla!) Green yogurt.
1/2-3/4 cup of blueberries
1 packet of Truvia
1 heaping teaspoon of cinnamon.
Stir them all together.
Low-calorie, lots of vitamins and other health benefits, easy to make, and filling. It's a good desert both for folks with diabetes, and people trying to lose weight (and thus doubly good for me). Obviously, you can adjust the ingredients as needed (not everyone loves cinnamon and blueberries as much as I do).

Date: 2011-06-05 10:07 pm (UTC)I am used to seeing honey on these "desserts," which is why I no longer eat them. The truvia addition is an interesting one. I wonder if it would work for me.
