Granted, just about all of them come down to "crappy writing," but some wikisurfing led to this tidbit from the Wikipedia entry for The Engineer:

Because one of the items on the checklist of "crappy writing" (and Millar generally hits all of them -- he's talented in ways that ordinary mediocre hacks like Scott Lobdell could only dream of aspiring to) is gratuitous rape (and yeah, I read the issue, so I stand by the adjective).
