Has anyone come across a sushi place that serves a "rick roll?"

And if so, did it contain the same ingredients that were promised on the menu?

Yup, at Miya's in New Haven. I did not order it, though, so I can't say on the second question.

I am utterly unsurprised that they had it at Miya's. Some day, I do intend to eat there.

You totally should. I recommend the Ride the Wild Donkey roll. It is gorgeous.

I thought this was just a joke until I read figment's response. I'm going to be searching for a rick roll on every sushi menu I see now.

If we find them, we should never give them up.

But only if they never let us down.

And I'm pretty sure it's just bad form to run around and desert you with the check.

There are a number of sushi places in Uptown Minneapolis that have, at one time, offered a Rick Roll. They all came out as listed...opportunity wasted. (At least one of them was named after a friend of the restaurant(s) whose name was Rick.)
