Amazingly, Breaking In has been renewed months after it had been canceled! There'd been hints this would happen -- the option extension was a big clue -- but this was still a pleasent surprise.
That means that two great comedies from this year -- the other is Happy Endings, quite possibly the funniest new show of the past year -- were given second chances in spite of underwhelming ratings. It's almost like an '80s flashback, in a good way.
(ETA: Also, LJ wouldn't let me make this post until I'd replaced the url at Deadline with a Tinyurl one. Seriously. They gave me a 320 error, which means they think I'm a spammer.)
