Criterion Sale!

Criterion is offering their entire stock for 50% off for the next 75,000 seconds! That's not a lot of time, folks, so why are you still standing there with spare spending money? At the very least, feel free to buy some of these for me (that 25-disc Kurosawa collection, for instance).

Note that the sale is only on in-stock items (no pre-orders, etc).

Christ, I think I've already bought every Criterion Blu-ray I'm ever going to buy at the various Barnes & Noble 50% sales. There's other stuff that hasn't come out yet that I want (Rushmore Blu-ray, you are mine), but they're not part of the sale.

A few of their standard DVDs are tempting, like Mishima, but I have the awful feeling that if I pull the trigger on them, they'll be announced for Blu-ray within six months. This happened to me with The Double Life of Veronique, and there was much headdesking.

Since our only Blu-Ray option is our PS3 (and don't have an HDTV set up), I've been pretty content with the regular ones. But even I have to admit I don't actually need any more, for at least some definitions of "need."
