yendiAmazon's Deal of the Day is on the Remastered Ultimate Edition of Blackadder for $33.99 (58% off)! Mind you, I've already got the previous set, and am content with it, but if you don't own this, it's one of the great TV series of all time, and even has that guy from House speaking with a British accent.

Date: 2011-10-01 02:09 pm (UTC)(I do wish he'd give lessons to other British actors who try to do American accents on TV, as too many of them feel like revenge for Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins. But Laurie really pulls it off.)

Date: 2011-10-02 02:41 pm (UTC)I thought series 1 was the weakest, but that may be just because the later ones are so good that they make it look weaker, by comparison.
I always wanted them to do a fifth series, about a 60's band called "The Blackadder Five", although, by now, the cast may have aged a bit too much for that... Another idea I like is having Blackadder and the gang running a pub (and the series could be called "A Fifth of Blackadder").
