So I changed my email address with LJ (so I could actually get comment notifications), and not five minutes later, got my very first bit 'o spam, a message from "Twitter," telling me that I had a new Twitter message, and to click on a link that actually points to a .fr address. It's actually a reasonably slick email (well-formatted, using the right images, etc), but since I hadn't changed my email on Twitter, and since the mail was sent to yendi (at) livejournal , it was pretty transparent. I'm just amused that LJ addresses are still being used for spam attacks.

I had been planning on moving over to have my primary email be the firstintiallastname address I have set up at gmail instead of my username at yahoo (that I've had since high school) but now I'm having second thoughts with your current issues...
