yendiHappy Thanksgiving for those of you in the US! Not a ton of new Amazon deals today (tomorrow's the big explosion of deals), but there's some nifty stuff. As always, see posts from Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for more deals (ranging from Kindle books and smartphones to tons of games and movies), and if you're feeling lucky, check out the lightning deals in all categories, which include great items (but which often sell out in minutes). The $7.99 seasons of Friends are still available as I write.
The Kindle DX has dropped in price from $379 to $259! I suspect this is a prelude to it being discontinued, but if you like the big-screen e-ink option, this is a heck of a deal.
In new print books, Sue Grafton's V is for Vengeance is $15.37 (45% off), and Ken Jennings's Maphead: Charting the Wide, Weird World of Geography Wonks is $15 (40% off). Both happen to be on my wish list, just as an FYI.
