So shadesong went to Target today, and showed me the underwear she bought.

The more frilly and slightly skimpy panties were fine, but the Batgirl ones, complete with a picture of Babs swinging through the city? Now those are awesome.

I went to three different Targets when I found those nifty underwear, including hitting the one in theferrett's neighborhood because I still hadn't found the Animal ones. I ended up with like six pairs of fun underwear in fat girl sizes and it made me happier than anything frilly ever could.

ThinkGeek had a set of three Batgirl Hipsters, which included a black pair with glow in the dark symbol and utility belt. My husband was going to get them for me for Valentine's Day, but they were out of stock in my size.

They finally came back in stock! But they had replaced that oh so awesome pair with.... "Keep Calm and Call Batman."

I wanted to kick something. I also told him not to waste the money, at that point. They took it from awesome costume style to OH NOEZ I NEED A HERO!
