Normally, I get grumpy when a spellchecker lacks a word. But when you're typing an email at a largely Jewish school, regarding something specifically dedicated to a Hebrew teaching program, it's a good thing when a squiggly red line appears when you type "pogram" instead of "program."

But does the dictionary include "pogrom"? That's the usual spelling I've seen. The good news is that making that error requires both a dropped character and a typo, and on QWERTY 'a' and 'o' are on opposite sides....

Heh. I'd actually typed "pogrom" the first time (the result of changing a few words mid-sentence), and "pogram" for this entry (because that's the more natural typo). But it lacks both.

It would be a nice feature if common racial and ethnic slurs were also underlined, where this is possible, in case one types one via finger slip.
