A poll

(ETA: 'song claims that she was only disputing the title track's quality; I still say she's wrong, though. I mean, Bret Michaels made the couplet, "Don't look back and have no regrets/Like beasts of prey we must feed on it" work!)

I meant to post this last night, but LJ spent hours being unusable (and DW still won't let you poll for free). Anyway, [livejournal.com profile] shadesong and I had a mild disagreement last night about this topic. As far as I'm concerned, there are only four possible answers to this question, and they're listed below, but if you've got some other wacky one (like "not a good album"), I suppose you could leave it in comments.

Poison's Flesh and Blood:

Actually, "never heard it" is more appropriate, because I've heard OF it, just never bothered to listen to the album. My sister was the Poison fan in our house, but it really wasn't my schtick. Still isn't, tbh.

No, Adam! That was not the disagreement. The disagreement was regarding the merits of the title track!

No, I questioned the song alone. :P

Didn't Lynne already give her opinion? Wasn't that enough to settle this debate? :-)

Ooooh.

*narrowed eyes*
*thoughtful look*

We need disagreement-settling protocols.

I'm pretty sure that if you and Lynne agree about something, it is THE TRUTH. :)

Definitely in my top 5 for the year, along with Flood, Empire, and the Young Guns II soundtrack. ;)

I don't think I could recognize a Poison song other than "Unskinny Bop", "Every Rose has its Thorn", or "Nothin' But a Good Time."

And by that I mean, "I just looked through a list of songs by Poison, and those were the only three that I recognized at all." Not that I actually could have answered "Poison" if you'd asked me "Who wrote 'Unskinny Bop'?"

Poison has a good album?

Sorry... not my kind of band in those days. Except for "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" (1988) I didn't care for much of their work in general.

I've heard "Unskinny Bop" because it was played out on the radio at the time; nothing else from the album seems familiar.

Lights...Camera...Revolution! Suicidal Tendencies was my favorite cd from 1990. I liked Poisen's cd but there was a bunch of records I liked more. Vision Thing was my second favorite. Flesh and Blood is in my top ten for that year though. I had my copy the day it went on sale.
