Meh. I actually liked Man of Steel a great deal. I think the tone could have done with a little lightening (that's as much Nolan/Goyer as Snyder), but it was well done.

I suspect that, as with so many movies, the best parts are in the trailer (assuming you're watching it for plot/character).
