New canon theory for Lost

What if one of Sawyer's unseen flashbacks is him stealing Alicia Silverstone's purse in that Aerosmith video? It's consistent, character-wise. I know it adds nothing to the mythology, but I'll take ten bits of nothing over something as awful as the series wrap-up.
