Such a good roundtable (even if it's the BS "roundtable" where each person's emailed the same questions, so there's no interaction between them, alas) on women in sports journalism. And then I scrolled too far and got to the comments.

Comment sections, especially around 'controversial' topics, such as treating women like normal human beings, seem to be fly-paper for trolls, bigots and idiots. [and any combination thereof.]

That's the problem with making it so easy that any idiot can go online and voice their opinion... every idiot does !

and yeah, I wish there was a way of enlightening them all... XKCD's YouTube comment virus or something. But you know what they say, there's none so deaf as those that refuse to listen.
