Saw it yesterday. Yes, it was predictable. I don't care. It was fun. And yes, of course I teared up. I also did during the opening short ("Feast") which was utterly adorable.

We were literally the only people in the theatre who stayed through the entire credits. It's like people have never seen a Marvel-based movie before. If you see it, don't be one of those people.

Not going to spoil much, but I did love just about everything here, from the cast to the animation to the music. Definitely one I'd happily watch again.

I loved the first 45 minutes. The rest was fun, but if they'd stayed at MIT-excuse-me-nerd-school for the whole movie, I would've watched that happily.

The majority of people didn't stay through the credits either time I saw it, but I think that may be related to the fact that many of them had young children with them. Then again, I think it's also possible they didn't think that rule applied to animated Marvel movies, or they haven't gone to any of the regular ones and just didn't know?

I mean, I see people leaving before the end of the credits for movies from the Avengers line-up too, so.... who knows.

Oh, and also: all the crying. For the first one, more of a non-stop, uncontrollable ugly cry (which I haven't experienced in a long time).... a little easier the second time, but damn, something about that hit me right in the feels (we have some theories, related to how I feel about what my sister's been going through, lately). Also, I think one tiny thing could've been revealed earlier which would've made it less unbearable for me, and WOULDN'T have impacted the overall emotional significance of the scene. Ugh. A little too much of the heart-rending, there.

When I went with my best friend, we were the only adults in the theater who were not attached to at least one child and we were also the only ones who stayed through the credits.

Also...while I didn't tear up during the movie, I did during the short. *sniffle*
