In a nutshell, for each transaction you make, the buyer or seller can rate you "positive," "negative," or "neutral," along with a comment. Each Positive gets you +1, each negative gets you -1, and a neutral gets zero. When your score hits 10, you get a star, and when it hits 100, your star turns blue. Since lots of folks don't leave feedback at all, it usually takes way more than 100 transactions to get there.
