yendiJust came back from Jason X. It rocked. Mind you, this is a movie aimed at slasher fans, and fans of the F13 series in particular. But it was just a blast. Lisa Ryder is fucking amazing as the android -- I'm so putting her on my wishlist. And the rest of the cast is fun, especially Lexa Doig as a human (two Andromeda cast members as leads -- nifty!), and Peter Mensah as the Apone-rip-off Sarge. And David Cronenberg gets impaled in the first five minutes! And there's some damned good humor here.
And to top it all off, in the 25th Century, all monitors on spaceships are apparently Apple 17 Inch Flat Panels. Who'd have thunk it?
