Patriots' Day is celebrated only in MA, ME, and parts of WI, and even that small group can't agree on where to put the apostrophe (the folks in ME insist on putting it before the S). So I'm at home, proctoring Elayna as she takes an SAT practice test.
Anyway, a handful of deals:
Amazon's DVD Deal of the Week is Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Series (plus Collectible Cylon) on DVD for $89.49. Of course, season 4 is one of the worst recent seasons in television memory (rivaling B5 season 5 and any season of Two and a Half Men), and season 3 isn't exactly perfect either, but at least the acting's good. And those first two seasons really are kind of awesome.
The Blu-Ray of the week is the Tom Cruise Blu-Ray Collection (with Collateral, Days of Thunder, Minority Report, Top Gun, and War of the Worlds) for $25 (57% off). Granted, Days of Thunder is basically the BSG season 4 of this collection, but it's still a nifty deal.
In video games, you can nab the limited edition of Fate/Extra for the PS3 for $29.99 (25% off), and Resident Evil 4 for the Wii (AKA the last good RE game) is $9.99 (50% off)
