When Elayna gets back from Florida, I wanna get her a Money Savvy Pig.

Part of it is just the principle -- who can say no to a Money Savvy Pig?

But part of it is that she needs to start really understanding the value of money (and we probably need to start with an allowance, in return for her fulfilling responsibilities). And it's a good way for her to track what she has.

And besides, it's a blue pig!

Um, you mean we're going to call it that. :-) By the time she gets back, she'll have forgotten that it was ever called anything else.

Oh, this is cool. We sort of do that with the kids' allowance, but we just divide it into savings and spending.
