So. Tried to get to sleep. Didn't work. Watched the two episodes of Arlis$ that were on Tivo (this season has been a lot more touching than seasons past). The first one had Maggie Walsh (season 4 of Buffy) as a guest star, in a very different role.

Finally managed to sleep at a bit after 10. Woke up at about 11:30 when [livejournal.com profile] shadesong called, but I could hobble to the phone in time to answer it.

Got a few phone errands done, did laundry (mistake! The laundry hamper is on the ground, which means I had to bend over), then realized I was ravenous. So I ordered Chinese food -- the nice thing about lunch specials is that they toss in soup and spring rolls. So I had two bowls of soup and a spring roll for lunch, and now have to full entrees for dinner tonight/lunch tomorrow, when I'll be more confidant that I can handle the "real" food.

The stomach seems fine now, from what I can tell. No such luck on the aches and pain front, alas. Whenever I have to crouch or bend, I feel like Samuel Jackson in Unbreakable, but without the funky haircut. I'm very glad we live in a one-story house. :-/
