Hey, it happens!

Joe Q announced that all Marvel books will have a synopsis page. Frankly, any comic should, in my opinion. And a real one, giving the backstory. Not the bullshit synopsis that Jeff Smith has been using for years (hi -- here's the synopsis for what happened before issue one, in issue 48!). I like it.

And yes, Crossgen did it first. And I'd bet money that Jemas was against it.

Speaking of trivial complaints about Bone, would it kill Smith to give us page numbers?

and it's about time Marvel started doing it. Wish all the publishers would do it...and do it intelligently. Comics are, for the most part, like soap operas - jumping into them in the middle is really daunting; reading them long enough gets you hooked; sooner or later you'll figure out what's going on. But for a curious, possible-new-reader, a summary would work wonders.

And, yeah, CrossGen has been doing it since the beginning :P

heck, if its been long enough between deliveries, even regular readers can do with the summary just to get back up to speed.
