I refuse to sell out and go for the trendy apostrophe. Instead, I'm renaming myself Ye Olde Yendi. ;-)

Would you think me pretentious if I pronouced "ye" as "the," since I know the the "y" is indeed a THORN, and should be pronounced thus?

My erstwhile pretention has no contention, of course.
