Finished the Macworld keynote (and had to attend a real meeting right afterwards).

iSync looks nifty, although I'm happier about the Palm aspect than the cell phone part for now.

17" iMac looks nice. Damned nice. As fucking powerful as my desktop.

iTunes 3 rocks.

A MacOSX version of Realplayer -- it's about damned time.

Jaguar will be cool, especially since work will pay for it.

.mac sucks ass -- for all the services that are being offered, I just want my basic free mac.com account. Fuck you for taking it away, Steve Jobs. Fuck you with a rusty metal ruler.

Oh, but Rendevous is nifty. :-)

I'd really like it if they'd quite adding 'i' in front of everything, it's giving me a headache. Maybe that should be "it's giving me an iheadache."

OSX has turned me from someone who was getting jaded with all operating systems, into someone with a renewed love of the Mac.

And I so need an iPod. Apple dropped the price on the basic one to $299.

I missed the keynote, but was just reading up on .mac. I think this suite of services is pretty cool, but like you I just want my free mac.com account. It's the account I use to recieve all my newsletters, listserv stuff, etc. This is going to be a real pain in the ass.

By the way, I added you to my friends list. I had asked some of my LJ friends for suggestions of other users' journals they thought I would like, and kellinator thought I'd enjoy yours, and share some of the same interests. She was right. So..ummmm....hi....

Yeah -- I'm hoping there's enough of a backlash that Steve decides to offer a "lite" version for those of us who just like the email address feature.

And I've added you to my friends list as well. I was wondering where you'd found me -- I'd been betting on a link off of Metaphorge's friends list, since we both use the anti-Bush icon, but we've got plenty of people and communities in common, so I wasn't sure.
