Immoral acts with stuffed animals

Our cat has recently turned his affections from the usual suspects (pillows) to the giant stuffed teddy bear in Elayna's room. We'd been noticing tufts of black fuzz around the house, and this weekend, we caught him humping the teddy bear at least three times. And I just had to pull him off the bear again. I'm glad this isn't one of Elayna's favorites.

Dude. I slept in the room (for three nights) where Max was, er, perpetrating himself. He was sufficiently quiet and curteous, at least. But I kept walking on the tufts of fuzz and they kept clinging to my socks.

And the three times in one day is no exaggeration.

When I was a teenager, my sisters dog (female) would get one of her (my sister's) stuffed animals, drag it around the house a while, tear it's eyes off if it had the hard plastic button eyes, then mount it's nose and ride it hard. When she was done, she would tear the nose off too. It was a sad collection of blind, nose-button-less animals when that phase ended.

Isn't -- Elayna's still out of town, so she's been blissfully unaware of the fact that the teddy bear is no longer virginal.

Well, my cat's favorite was more traditional: my shin. Especially if it was underneath any of the handmade blankets knit by my great grandmother or crocheted by my sister. So you know, count your blessings and all...

True. He's not a big fan of travel. I still remember his pitiful mewling from the backseat when shadesong and I made the all-day move up here from FLA.
