Crap.

Just looked at my calendar, and my performance review is on Thursday (okay, I've known this for a couple of weeks, but I've been in pleasant denial). I haven't had a review in over three years. Not looking forward to this one. Especially since this has been a stressy summer at work to begin with, and I don't doubt I've also brought home-related problems into the office at times. OTOH, Marisa is not only an amazingly cool boss, but a very upfront and honest one. So I'm pretty sure I'd know if I was about to get lit up like a firecracker. Still, performance reviews are scary.

The worst you'll get is what I invariably get - "technically great but somewhat snappy with people" - and I doubt you'll get that. Sure I only got it cos I'm bigger than my boss, and it scares him (what can I say, he's former insurance-company middle management).
If your boss is cool, you're fine :)
