Holy crap, I've been working too long. I, for a long time, thought that the quote meant that she's accepted that you were the devil, but she was no longer afraid of that, being cool with being the niece of the devil. It just dawned on me that she thinks that you are *not* the devil anymore, and so she doesn't fear you being it.

English does funny things to me. :)
