Since my brain's not in any condition for real writing, here's a poll. [livejournal.com profile] voltbang mentioned the idea for the first question deep inside an earlier journal entry of mine, but since only [livejournal.com profile] ariadnesthread has answered there, I thought I'd bring it out to the main poll. Feel free to leave comments as well (this is an open poll).

It is the one question, with the excessively long response in it, that is rearranging the list.
*will merely avoid looking until he's certain it's been pushed down onto the next page. Smirks*

Take the nestle tollhouse cookie recipe (no nuts) use only 1 3/4 sticks of butter rather than 2 sticks, and to the butter sugar mixture add 5 tablespoons of cocoa powder (or the amount it says on the side of the Hershey's cocoa powder tin, oh and use the regulare standard kind not the dutch cocoa one that comes out too bitter with the coffee) and 3 to 5 tablespoons of coffee grounds (preferably espresso, but even decaf regular will work if you want Miss Kid not to be flying if she eats one). Yes coffee grounds, not instant coffee, not dissolved, not brewed, just straight coffee grounds. Mix into the butter sugar well, they kind of dissolve into it, before adding the eggs so that the flavor is well distributed. Continue as directed for the normal chocolate chip cookies. Bake carefully, I think about 8 minutes, just until the texture of the tops has changed, not shiny all over any more. Wait until the first batch has cooled before starting another, to see if it's the softness level that you like so that you can adjust the time accordingly. It can be hard to tell from how they come off the sheet to how they will be later.

Have fun, they're pretty easy. They are of course even better if you make them with chunks of cote d'or dark chocolate, but that's a little too decadent, even for my taste sometimes.

I started an LJ from memory, but had to stop because, well, I couldn't remember. I'll give you the incomplete version, and try to remember to work up the full version later.

Ok, you need more lines. I only got the singlemalts and one tequila before I ran out of space, that still leaves the rums and the one off misc stuff.
