Sep. 7th, 2002 10:13 amSo, apparently Shadesong and I have a combined sleep pool, and we're not both allowed to dip in at the same time. I was up until about 1:45, then hit the sack. She woke up about fifteen minutes later, and was up until I woke up at 7:30ish, but now she's asleep again (or trying to sleep, since "Elayna" and "quiet" go together like "chocolate" and "hamster"). I'd say that this was a bad house for sleep habits, but Max the cat has managed to create a sleeping nook inside a comforter on the loveseat, and is curled up there.
In other news, I finished the Bentley Little book this morning (fun, although the ending was a tad abrupt), and have read most of the Westfield shipment, save for the five-pack of Quicken Forbidden and the two Chaykins (American Century and his Green Lantern book). Codename Knockout rocked, of course, and I really enjoyed the latest SiP. I'm disappointed in the latest Amazing Spidey, though. JMS resorted to a comic cliche that's annoyed me for years -- the hero, in his secret identity, is traveling, and just happens to run into one of his arch-foes in that city. I don't care how good the set-up is, it's trite, and JMS can do better. He also writes a less interesting Doc Ock than Jenkins does (and I once again repeat my please for Jenkins to get a good artist on Peter Parker, as Humberto Ramos may be the worst artist on any Spidey title, ever).
