So, although I've accomplished nothing technically productive today, it's been a good day for hanging with the Kid. We've played three games of checkers (and the third was damned close), I fixed her junior microscope and spent some time looking at slides of things like mushrooms and silk, and we logged some serious computer game time on DX Ball (an Arkanoid clone). So yeah, although I'm far from accomplishing everyhing I meant to do (never got past the early "c"s on Yahoo messenger, for example), I at least feel like it wasn't a wasted afternoon.

Yeah - -sorry about that! I'm still learning Yahoo Messenger, and didn't know exactly how it worked.
