Elayna learned her first Bo staff kata today!

Actually, it was half a kata, and they used Jo staffs (which are pretty much proportionate to Bo staffs for them). But it was still super nifty to watch. :-)

cindygerb talked about making a costume entirely out of bo's. I told her that would make it rather hard to walk through doors. It seems that she meant bows. Oops...

A costume made of bows, of course, would make it hard for other folks to walk through doors (or pay attention to anything else).
