yendiSo, on the off chance you missed me (ha!), I suffered the worst of fates -- my wonderful M$ Intellimouse died yesterday (right in the middle of Warcraft, no less).
So, although I could get online last night, I was managing purely by keyboard, and didn't really do much surfing.
As for what's been happening:

shadesong, gladstone, mightywombat, and bheansidhe all in attendance. Shows were fun, as was the company.
shadesong had the teacher conference impromtu yesterday when she picked up Elayna from school, which meant that I didn't have to worry about it today, which was a blessing (in the lazy sense) and a curse (in the sense that I wanted to be there for it). So that freed up my day today.
Today, I caught a ride into work withshadesong and swiped an extra mouse from the office. Went to the post office to mail an international package (stupid PO won't let Mailboxes and other stores handle international mail over one pound). Grabbed some sushi for lunch from Whole Foods (they're the only supermarket with good sushi around here), walked home, plugged in the mouse, played lots of Warcraft. Also called the Salvation Army to pick up more crap, and then settled down to read.
Or so I thought.
Two hours after starting to read, I woke up. Took me until now to really kick off the post-nap grogginess.
So yeah. That was my day. Tomorrow, the furnace folks are coming to make sure the heat's okay, and, um, that's it.
Aren't you all jealous of the excitement?
