There's a custody dispute of the Argonath bookends happening at home. I have more books, therefore I need them. He's decided all the Tolkien books are his (never mind who they came from lalala) so he thinks the bookends are his.
The current resolution is that we're using them to hold up our dvds, since we don't have a dvd holder yet.
This comment is completely unrelated to this post. ...or if it isn't, the connection is really, really tenuous.
I just looked at your userpics and needed to squee about someone else in the world knowing who Ambush Bug is. And the arrogant worms, too. And and and. I like your interests list. Yup. Hi.
Woo! Is Rocky & Bullwinkle really that rare a thing to like? Man. I used to watch it with my dad when I was a little sprog. He explained jokes like The Ruby Yacht of Omar Khayyam to me. :)
Ivy's from Hot Buttered Monkey Love, which is my own comic which I swear will eventually someday really be (a) up and (b) reliable. Heh. ...anyway, she's the main character, and I'm fond of her, so. :)
I think that fewer and fewer kids get exposed to R&B and the other Jay Ward cartoons, as they're not as mainstream as the other older fare (like Looney Tunes or Peanuts), so fewer folks develop the obsession with them. Of course, the miserable movie from a few years ago didn't help.
I love the title of your comic, and the pics. Can't wait to see it (and reliable is a good thing -- I'm sick of webcomics that vanish after two weeks, or spend three months in limbo)!

Oh my god, half the dvds we own are LotR.
