I don't care if John Woo directed it. Windtalkers is not a fucking Hong Kong Action movie. So kindly go to your Hong Kong Action Store (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/browse/-/464426/104-4214811-2788744) and remove that piece of shite from the "bestsellers" list. Come to think of it, remove most of the other bestsellers -- Blade II (why?), Tomorrow Never Dies (as if Michelle Yeoh is given the chance to show her chops), and Cannonball Run (not exactly Jackie Chan's proudest moment) all belong elsewhere. That's not to say I don't appreciate the existence of the Hong Kong Action store (or most of the others at http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/subst/home/specialty-stores.html/ref=sd_ss_sm/104-4214811-2788744 -- although the very idea of Left Behind and Anne Rice stores makes me want to gag), but, in the immortal words of Wham, if you're gonna do it, do it right.

And while you're at it, remove that Wham album from the Music They Make You Listen To In Hell Store...oh, wait. That really does belong there, doesn't it? Although I'm thinking in the Lower Circles they probably stick that Barbra Steisand duets CD in the player and hit "repeat."

I agree with everything there.. but toss out a little "just maybe" for Blade 2.. it DOES have Donnie Yen in it.. which is enough coolness in itself to make it belong there.. almost..

and it goes have some of the best fight scenes in an American made movie that i've ever seen..
