First, anyone looking for god syndicated LJ feeds needs to check out http://www.adcott.net/lj_syn/, which catalogs them nicely. It's the reason I finally found the Tom Toles RSS feed.

Second, in DVD news, another classic is finally getting the special edition treatment: 20,000 Leagues under the Sea! To quote from DVDfile: a new two-disc collector's edition of the 1954 classic 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Complete with a newly-remastered, THX-certified 2.35;1 anamorphic widescreen transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround remix, extras are plentiful: New audio commentaries by director Richard Fleischer and classic film historian Rudy Behlmer, "The Making Of 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea," "Jules Verne & Walt Disney - Explorers Of The Imagination," "The Humboltsquid: Real Sea Monster!", "Touring The Natuilus," "Monsters Of The Deep," "The Musical Legacy Of Paul Smith" and "Lost Treasure: The Sunset Squid Sequence" featurettes, a glimpse at the post-production with Peter Lorre's ADR tracks and the original Captain Nemo's organ music, a storyboard-to-screen comparison, unused animations, "Nemo's Death" script excerpt, a "Grand Canyonscope" animated short, the theatrical trailer, and the original 1954 theatrical radio spots. Retail is $29.95.

And due on the same day (March 13th) is Atlantis: Milo's Return, which I'm guessing is the never-seen tv series, cobbled together into a movie. But it's widescreen, and the first movie was nifty, so we'll own that one, too.

the atlantis sequel is just a straight to video sequel.. I'm sure the animation is going to suffer something fierce though.. since the movie was so stylized..
