Friday Five
Jan. 31st, 2003 02:34 pmWhat the hell -- I haven't made a significant post in ages, so let's continue with the fluff trail:
1. As a child, who was your favorite superhero/heroine?
It started out as Aquaman, because he always seemed underrated, and because, at least on the Superfriends cartoons I grew up watching, I took it as a given that he was getting some from Wonder Woman (no comment about the state of affairs between Batman and the Boy Wonder). As I started reading comics, I think The Flash became my favorite. Considering the fact that I pretty much came in dead last in any running event, that's not a shock.
2. What was one thing you always wanted as a child but never got?
Sheesh. One thing? Maybe some credit for anything I did right? Support for anything I loved? A laser gun? *shrug*
3. What's the furthest from home you've been?
France, I believe.
4. What's one thing you've always wanted to learn but haven't yet?
No one thing. But a few things at the top of the list are programming, how to play guitar, bridge, and where Jimmy Hoffa is buried.
5. What are your plans for the weekend?
Tonight -- maybe hitting the gaming store with Jet_li_wannabe, then hosting B5 at our place. Tomorrow -- karate with Elayna, followed by lunch and cookie selling. Other than that, much cleaning, much reading, and much resting (I need a relaxing weekend). And Sunday, we've got Girl Scouts and, assuming
voltbang is healthy by then, Blood Bowl.
