A few late-night comic links before bed
Feb. 9th, 2003 02:12 amPeter David, one of my favorite writers, is using the opportunity of 2/3 of his mainstream books ending to move onto more mature titles. His latest DC project, Fallen Angel, looks just incredible, and, shortly after reading that article, I found that Michael Kaluta will be providing the covers. I'm a happy camper.
I've never made a secret of how much of a Howard Chaykin fan I am. Well, he's got a graphic novel coming out this year that he's both writing and drawing. Much as I like Chaykin's writing, his art is something I've missed. And this looks like it'll be a winner.
And finally, I've raved any number of times about Usagi Yojimbo, which is simply one of the five best damnd comics of the last ten years. There's a nice (if not as long as I'd like) interview with Stan Sakai over at Pulse. Read it. And then buy the collections.
Off to sleep.
