Fuck you. Fuck you with a poker for making a toy that takes an hour to assemble, and that, because the plastic pieces don't lock, can't possible remain assembled.

Yeah, I spent the last hour (more like half an hour, but it was still a pain in the ass) assembling the Hot Wheels Octoblast that Elayna's birth family got her for Xmas. Royal pain in the ass. Reminds me of why I never was able to get anyone to give me those things when I was a kid.

I will say, the set is pretty cool. Lots of car crashes, even with just the two enclosed vehicles, lots of fun, lots of jumps. I just wish the tracks would stay together better.

Could you use glue to overcome the whole locking problem? One of the "polstyrene cement" ones that you'd use on model planes?

Thats really odd.. as a kid I remember Hot Wheels tracks being impossible to take apart.. not keep together.. Best handheld weapon invented.. Damn things can raise awesome welts..

I miss the dangerous toys I had as a kid..

We used those instead of swords. Of course, they were more like whips . . .

Ours were mostly blue with clear or black connectors.. but that could just be the specific set.. Thats what i'm talking about.. great swords.. and quite whiplike.. We always made sure we put it all away when we were finished playing after we broke a lamp fighting and mom grabbed a length and caught me across the ass.
