I, personally, loved Van Damme. Of all the eighties action-masters (and there were a lot of 'em), he's my favourite. For starters, he's not afraid to do B-movies. All the others want to do do A movies, but only Arnie can (and there's no explaination for that).
They don't mention, though, that Bloodsport is a re-make of Enter the Dragon, right down to the star doing that "taste your own blood and scream like a horny rooster" bit that only Bruce Lee or someone trying to be him can possibly do with a straight face
