The Good Captain is half Native American. This is the sort of information that it's important to know. It's the reason I watch FoodTV, other than the food porn. If my life ever depends on knowing his ethnicity, I'm set.

What, the ad agency established a back story for Captain Crunch? Did they establish what tribe?

It was Bill Wray (of Rocky & Bullwinkle and Dudley Do-Right fame) who created him. No word on the tribe.

As I told Dean, it was Bill Wray who created him, and he decided to imbue him with a backstory. He was half Native American, half-Norse, the son of an explorer who came to America in the 1200s. No word on his immortality, but I'm guessing it has something to do with his being a vampire and sucking the blood of cereal-eating children.
